Redmond gets call overturned vs. Brewers

MIAMI -- On Friday night, the Marlins continued their high success rate of replay challenges.

In the fifth inning against the Brewers, Miami got an overturn on what was initially ruled an infield single for Marco Estrada.

Estrada, the Brewers pitcher, slapped a grounder up the middle. Shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria snared the ball on the first-base side of second, and he made an accurate throw to first baseman Garrett Jones.

First-base umpire Brian O'Nora ruled safe on the bang/bang play. Manager Mike Redmond challenged, and the play was overturned after 1 minute, 20 seconds.

The play put the Marlins at 10 of 11 in challenges.
