Marlins Minor Leaguer Copeland suspended
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Miami Marlins Minor League outfielder Kolby Copeland has received a 50-game suspension without pay for refusal to take an off-season drug test, a violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
The suspension of Copeland, who is currently on the roster of Single-A Batavia Muckdogs of the New York-Penn League, will be effective at the start of this season.
