Marlins Minor Leaguer Llera suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Miami Marlins Minor League catcher Robert Llera has received a 60-game suspension without pay after testing positive for a metabolite of Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The suspension of Llera, who is currently on the roster of the rookie-level Gulf Coast League Marlins, will be effective at the start of the 2016 GCL season.
