Marlins to host St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants for nine-game homestand

MIAMI -The Miami Marlins begin their sixth homestand tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23, with a three-game series against the NL Central-leading St. Louis Cardinals. Then the Marlins will take on the NL West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers for three games. Following an off-day on Monday, the Marlins finish the homestand with a three-game set against the San Francisco Giants. The Marlins went 5-1 in their most recent homestand (June 11-16) and are 9-2 in their last 11 games at Marlins Park.

The homestand will see the return of 2013 National League Rookie of the Year and NL All-Star Jose Fernandez, who is scheduled to start on July 2 vs. San Francisco, marking his first game since May 9, 2014 at San Diego due to undergoing Tommy John surgery. Thursday will be known as #JoseDay and will feature matinee pricing, one-dollar Kayem beef franks, and all fans will receive a Jose Head giveaway.

The Marlins will also see another All-Star return, as 2003 World Series MVP Josh Beckett will be recognized on Sunday, June 28 for Josh Beckett Appreciation Day. Josh will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and be joined by several of his former Marlins teammates and coaches. The first 10,000 fans will receive a 2003 Replica World Series Ring courtesy of FOX Sports Florida. Also on Sunday, fans are invited to join the Marlins' Japanese Heritage Day celebration. The VIP special event package includes a Baseline Reserved ticket in the Japanese Heritage section and a Japanese Heritage Day T-shirt. Fans sitting in the section can participate in cheers led by an ōendan.

This homestand also features Nickelodeon Day featuring SpongeBob SquarePants on Friday, June 26, and a Saturday Spectacular concert presented by Lexus with Never Stop Believin' - The Ultimate Journey Tribute Show performing postgame on June 27. Fans are invited to join the Miami Marlins as they host Nickelodeon Day featuring SpongeBob SquarePants. The Nickelodeon Day package includes a pregame meet & greet with SpongeBob and Patrick plus a Lexus Legends Level game ticket, a SpongeBob SquarePants 2015 Exclusive Figurine, and all the festivities throughout the ballgame. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Young At Art Museum, a 2015 Marlins Charity Partner.
