Marlins to host Chicago Cubs for three-game homestand

The Miami Marlins welcome the Chicago Cubs on Monday, June 1, for three games for their fourth homestand of the season. Following this brief, three-game homestand, the Marlins head off to Colorado for a three-game, weekend set before visiting Toronto for three games.

The homestand begins on Monday, June 1, which means all active and retired military personnel, veterans, first responders, military civilians and their spouses and children (up to 4 family members) can take advantage of complimentary tickets as part of South Florida Heroes Mondays presented by Outback Steakhouse. In addition, the Marlins will recognize the soldier of the game, police officer of the game and first responder of the game with an on-field presentation during the fourth inning. The heroes will receive an Outback Steakhouse prize pack. On Tuesday, fans can join the second Social Media Night of the season as the Marlins look to #RewriteTheFuture against the Cubs as part of the season-long celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Back To The Future series. The VIP special event package includes a game ticket, a special #RewriteTheFuture T-shirt, and prizes and sweepstakes.

The homestand wraps up with the FOX Sports Florida Fantasy Auction on Wednesday. Fans are invited to join Tommy Hutton, Rich Waltz, and Craig Minervini, along with the Marlins Foundation, for a chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Fans can join in on the bidding fun by visiting the Ford Big Board and Little Board in centerfield during the game. For fans that cannot make it to the game, they can place bids by tuning in to FOX Sports Florida. Proceeds from this signature event benefit the Miami Marlins Education Fund. Also, all kids, ages 12 and under, with a game ticket on Wednesday will receive a coupon for a free Kayem Beef Frank, bag of Frito-Lay Chips and a small Aquafina or Pepsi as part of Kids Eat Free Wednesday Nights this season at Marlins Park.
