Mesoraco not running at full speed yet

BOSTON -- Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco is eligible to come off of the disabled list on Sunday, after he incurred a left hamstring strain April 25 at Atlanta. However, Mesoraco has not advanced to hard running to test his hamstring.

"He was doing a little bit of light jogging at home," Reds manager Bryan Price said Wednesday. "He's doing all of his exercises and treatment and doing some running each day now. I don't believe there is any sprinting yet."

With Mesoraco out, Brayan Pena and Tucker Barnhart have taken his place behind the plate.
