Metallica to rock Busch Stadium in June

February 13th, 2017

JUPITER, Fla. -- Heavy metal band Metallica has scheduled a concert stop at Busch Stadium for June 4, the Cardinals announced on Monday. It will be the group's first show in St. Louis in nearly nine years.
"As one of the most influential hard-rock bands of all time who has been performing for over three decades, this promises to be one of the most electrified concerts in our ballpark's history," said Vicki Bryant, Cardinals vice president of event services and merchandising.
Details about Metallica's upcoming show at Busch Stadium comes a little more than a week after it was announced that Billy Joel would perform there as a part of his stadium tour.
Tickets for Metallica's concert will be available to Citi Card members beginning at 11 a.m. CT on Tuesday. Cardinals season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets starting on Thursday (10 a.m.). Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday (10 a.m.). Ticket prices start at $55.50 and include a copy of Metallica's album "Hardwired... to Self-Destruct."
