Mets' exhibition game against Army canceled

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- The Mets have canceled their exhibition game Friday against the United States Military Academy due to an inclement weather forecast. They will not reschedule the game.
The National Weather Service predicts a 100 percent chance of rain in Flushing, N.Y., on Friday, with precipitation levels reaching up to three-quarters of an inch.
Fans who purchased tickets to the Army game online or on the phone will receive automatic refunds to their credit card. Fans who purchased tickets at the Citi Field Box Office using cash can return them in person to receive a refund.
The Mets will work out indoors at Citi Field on Friday, and again on Sunday in preparation for their 1:10 p.m. ET Opening Day game Monday against the Braves.
