The New York Mets today announced that the club has traded righthanded pitcher Logan Verrett to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for cash.
Verrett, 26, went 3-8 with a 5.20 ERA (53 earned runs/91.2 innings) in 35 games (12 starts) for the Mets in 2016. In 53 career major league games (16 starts), Verrett is 4-10 with a 4.65 ERA (72 earned runs/139.1 innings).
