Miller Park Homestand Highlights: June 11-16

Two All-Fan Giveaways and a Free Postgame Concert by O.A.R. Fill Jam-Packed Schedule

MILWAUKEE, WI - The Milwaukee Brewers begin their fifth homestand of the season tonight when the team opens a four-game series against the Washington Nationals. The Brewers then play host to the reigning American League Pennant winners, the Kansas City Royals, for the first two games of a home-and-home series. The homestand is highlighted by two All-Fan Giveaways and the second installment of the "Brewers Postgame Concert Series presented by Miller Lite." O.A.R will rock the yard on Saturday, June 13, in a show that is free to all fans in attendance. The sponsor of this concert is Pick 'n Save.
 
Thursday, June 11 vs. Washington Nationals, 7:10 p.m.

Season Seat Holder Appreciation Day - The Brewers will reward their Season Seat Holders by giving them 25% off food, beverage and merchandise during the game by simply presenting their Season Seat Holder ID Card. Season Seat Holders will also enjoy the opportunity to enter Miller Park 30 minutes prior to the general public to watch the Brewers take batting practice. Brewers Recognize U.S. Presidential Scholar - Alethia Tilford, a senior at Milwaukee Public Schools' Ronald Reagan College Preparatory High School, will be recognized on the field for being named a U.S. Presidential Scholar. Only 141 students from around the country earned the award, which is considered the highest honor for graduating school seniors. Alethia is one of only two winners from Wisconsin and the only winner from the Milwaukee area. She will travel to Washington, D.C. in June to receive a Presidential Scholar Medallion.
 
Friday, June 12 vs. Washington Nationals, 7:10 p.m.
Free T-Shirt Friday presented by Hupy and Abraham - All fans in attendance will receive a complimentary Brewers Retro Blue T-Shirt presented by Hupy and Abraham. Fans will have a choice of either an adult medium or adult extra-large shirt.
 
Zubazpalooza - Back by popular demand, Zubazpalooza returns to Miller Park for the third consecutive season. All fans who purchase the special Zubazpalooza ticket package will receive a pair of green and blue Zubaz pants with the Brewers 1990's logo. Student Night - Every Friday home game, high school and college students can purchase $10 Terrace Reserved tickets and $15 Loge Bleachers tickets. O.A.R. Postgame Concert - Shortly after the Brewers take on the Nationals, fans are invited to stay for the second installment of the "Brewers Postgame Concert Series presented by Miller Lite." Rockers O.A.R will serenade fans with several of their hits including Hey Girl, Love and Memories, Crazy Game of Poker and Shattered (Turn the Car Around). The concert is free for all fans in attendance and is presented by Pick 'n Save. Carlos Gomez Bobblehead Giveaway - All fans in attendance at Sunday's afternoon matinee will receive a complimentary Carlos Gomez 2014 National League All-Star Bobblehead, courtesy of Pepsi.
 
Koos For Kids - The 11th annual Koos for Kids fundraiser will be held at the Milwaukee County Zoo from 4 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Koos for Kids, a charity founded by Racine native and Brewers bullpen catcher Marcus "Koos" Hanel, hosts an annual fundraiser for terminally ill or disadvantaged children. Carlos Gomez Hispanic Scholarship Fund - Carlos Gomez will once again lead off the Carlos Gomez Hispanic Scholarship Fund in collaboration with Wisconsin LULAC Council 333. The fund was created by Wisconsin LULAC Council 333 to help Wisconsin Hispanic students pursue a college degree. Gomez and LULAC Council 333 will present over 25 scholarships to Hispanic youth to pursue their college degrees. Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run Team Championship Competition - This spring, over 600,000 children participated nationwide in Major League Baseball's free Pitch, Hit & Run program. Prior to the game, the top 12 boy and girl qualifiers from Wisconsin will compete at Miller Park in hopes of advancing to the National Finals at the 2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Cincinnati, OH. Winners from the competition will be recognized on the field during a pre-game presentation. The 2015 National Finalists will be announced live on MLB Network on June 28th.

Feed the Kids Summer Meals Program - Monday, June 15 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. at Red Arrow Park (rain or shine), Brewers players and Wives, representatives from Mayor Tom Barrett's office, and other community leaders will join Salvation Army leadership & advisory board members in kicking off the Feed the Kids summer meals program. Guests will prepare 1,800 lunches for The Salvation Army Feed the Kids summer meals program. The program is designed to meet the needs of children in Milwaukee's poorest neighborhoods.
