Major League Baseball and New York Mets announce city-wide ticket hunt to celebrate All-Star Week Events

Fans Have Opportunity to Win Tickets to T-Mobile All-Star FanFest and Taco Bell All-Star Sunday

First Clue to be Posted on Saturday, May 18 at 10:00 a.m. ET via @AllStarGame and @Mets

Baseball enthusiasts will have an opportunity to take to the New York City streets and compete in a race of the feet and mind to win tickets to All-Star Week events during the T-Mobile® All-Star FanFest Ticket Hunt. The T-Mobile All-Star FanFest Ticket Hunt will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, May 18 when a series of clues will be released one-by-one through the All-Star Game Twitter account (@AllStarGame) and the Mets Twitter account (@Mets). Each clue will lead fans to five locations throughout Manhattan.

The first eligible fan to show up at each location and provide uniformed MLB representatives with the correct password - which will be released in advance through the All-Star Game and Mets Twitter accounts - will win a prize package consisting of four tickets to one day of T-Mobile All-Star FanFest (including four T-Mobile fast lane bracelets and four food vouchers), four tickets to Taco Bell All-Star Sunday, and a voucher to receive an authenticated David Wright autographed baseball. The T-Mobile All-Star FanFest Ticket Hunt is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older.

T-Mobile All-Star FanFest will transform the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center into the largest interactive baseball theme park in the world, providing an unrivaled experience for fans of all ages. Visitors will experience more than 400,000 square feet of baseball fun with attractions including exhibits from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, batting cages, clinics, free autograph sessions with former Mets, MLB legends and Hall of Famers, memorabilia and much more. A number of ticket specials are being offered including 'Buy One Get One Free Friday,' 'Two for Tuesday,' and a FanFest Family Pack. Taco Bell All-Star Sunday includes the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which showcases many of the top Minor League prospects and previously featured Matt Harvey (2011) and David Wright (2004) of the Mets. The 2013 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, also part of Taco Bell All-Star Sunday, will feature stars from film, music, television and entertainment teaming up with former Major Leaguers and former Mets stars immediately following the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game.

MLB All-Star Week at Citi Field includes the 84th MLB All-Star Game (July 16th), Gatorade All-Star Workout Day (July 15th) featuring the Home Run Derby, Taco Bell All-Star Sunday (July 14th), including the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game and the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game.

Outside the ballpark, fans will have an opportunity to experience All-Star Week through a variety of special events including the All-Star 5K & Fun Run benefiting Sandy Relief presented by Nike (July 13th), a charity run/walk on a baseball themed-course and the MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevrolet (July 16th), a free parade of All-Stars that will travel across on 42nd Street.
