MLB Announces T-Mobile All-Star FanFest Theme Days and Giveaways

Major League Baseball announced today that T-Mobile All-Star FanFest at the Duke Energy Center from July 10th-14th in Cincinnati will feature a theme and corresponding giveaway each day. Additionally, there will be chances to win various prizes, including tickets to All-Star Sunday featuring the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game and All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, Gatorade All-Star Workout Day featuring the Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders, and the 86th MLB All-Star Game. Friday, July 10th - Opening Day/Kids Day
Opening Day of T-Mobile All-Star FanFest will be "Kids Day," giving young fans special opportunities to enjoy all aspects of baseball through skills games, a kids-only press conference, a home run derby and much more. The first eligible 2,400 children ages 12 and under will receive a Barry Larkin Plush Figure at the entrance of the event. During Opening Ceremonies, a child chosen by representatives of Major League Baseball and the Reds will sing the National Anthem. A random selection of T-Mobile All-Star FanFest "MVP" kids will receive promotional items from each day of the event including a T-Mobile JUMP! Lane bracelet and t-shirt.


Saturday, July 11th - 25th Anniversary of the World Series Champion Cincinnati Reds
On Saturday, T-Mobile All-Star FanFest will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Reds winning the 1990 World Series. The first eligible 2,000 fans will receive a 25th Anniversary Commemorative Coin at the entrance. Members of the 1990 World Championship team will be on hand for a ceremony on the T-Mobile Diamond, as well as to sign autographs, take part in Q&A sessions and take photos with fans.


Sunday, July 12th - Salute to Our Soldiers Day
T-Mobile All-Star FanFest will pay tribute to the men and women of our armed forces by honoring them throughout the day on Sunday. A presentation of the colors for the National Anthem by Junior ROTC members will open the day at the World's Largest Baseball. Fans can create thank you cards to send to troops and participate in Baseball Boot Camp on the T-Mobile Diamond. The first eligible 2,000 fans will receive a Mini Bobblehead of a member of the legendary Big Red Machine at the entrance. Military members are able to receive $5 off a regularly priced ticket.


Monday, July 13th - Spirit Day
On Monday at T-Mobile All-Star FanFest, MLB will ask fans to show their Cincinnati Reds and MLB All-Star Spirit by wearing their favorite Reds or All-Star fan gear, participate in photo collage contests, check out the Twitter Mirror at MLB.com's set and share "Random Acts of FanFest" experiences on social media. Additionally, a scavenger hunt via social media will take place throughout the Duke Energy Convention Center with the chance to win prizes. The first eligible 2,000 fans will receive a Reusable Tote Bag presented by tokidoki at the entrance.


Tuesday, July 14th - Tribute Tuesday
The final day of T-Mobile All-Star FanFest will celebrate the history of Cincinnati and its milestones by honoring members of the surrounding communities throughout the region. Featured heroes will include teachers, service men and women, community leaders and/or local neighbors who have done outstanding work in his or her community. Starting the day, first responders will be honored in a special ceremony at the World's Largest Baseball. Fans will be encouraged to post images of their personal heroes on social media. Children of Cincinnati Police and first responders will participate in a special game on the T-Mobile Diamond. The first eligible 2,000 fans will receive a Todd Frazier Tumbler at the entrance.
