Major League Baseball presents Theme Days and Giveaways for T-Mobile All-Star FanFest in New York City

MLB All-Star Ambassadors autograph schedule announced

Major League Baseball announced that T-Mobile All-Star FanFest will feature a theme each day from July 12-16 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. Unique events and special giveaways will take place each day connected to the theme of T-Mobile All-Star FanFest. All giveaway terms and conditions can be found at AllStarGame.com.

Friday, July 12 - Kids Day
To start All-Star Week, junior ROTC members will present the colors at the Opening Ceremony of T-Mobile All-Star FanFest. In addition, there will be a Home Run Derby for kids taking place on The Diamond presented by T-Mobile along with an MLB mascot autograph session taking place in the Rookie League attraction. MLB All-Star Ambassador John Franco will be appearing and signing autographs as part of Kids Day. The first 1,000 eligible children aged 12 and under will receive a free Mr. Met Mini Bobblehead.

Saturday, July 13 - Heritage Day
Heritage Day celebrates the diverse cultures of New York City where fans can experience some of baseball's historical moments and meet players from the Negro Leagues. Vera Clemente, wife of the late Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente, and Sharon Robinson, daughter of the late Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson will both be participating in Q&As from the All-Star Clubhouse presented by Majestic. MLB All-Star Ambassador Edgardo Alfonzo will be appearing and signing autographs as part of Heritage Day. In addition, MLB All-Star Ambassador Mookie Wilson will conduct a Q&A with fans. The first 1,000 eligible fans will receive a free Mookie Wilson Mini Bobblehead.

Sunday, July 14 - Family Day
Family Day at T-Mobile All-Star FanFest will feature activities that both children and parents can enjoy together as a family. Parents and kids can learn the fundamentals of baseball together through special clinics as well as play catch together on The Diamond presented by T-Mobile. The first 1,000 eligible children aged 12 and under will receive a free Lil' Teammate Figurine.

Monday, July 15 - Military Appreciation Day
Military Appreciation Day will focus on military personnel and their families. The day will feature a Bank of America Military Branch T-Ball Game featuring children of various military branches and a Baseball Boot Camp on The Diamond presented by T-Mobile where fans will go through baseball boot camp drills. Fans will also have the opportunity to send thank you messages to support our troops throughout the day. The first 1,000 eligible fans will receive a free Military Patch.

Tuesday, July 16 - Tribute Tuesday
Tribute Tuesday will honor local heroes of New York City and surrounding areas throughout the day. Heroes include teachers, service men and women, community leaders or a local neighbor who has done outstanding work in his/her community. The Opening Ceremony will also include the NYPD and the FDNY presenting our nation's colors. Mookie Wilson will be appearing and signing autographs as part of Tribute Tuesday. In addition, John Franco will conduct a Q&A with fans and be available for photos in front of the World's Largest Baseball. The first 1,000 eligible fans will receive a free David Wright Mini Bobblehead.
