MLB.com fantasy expert Fred Zinkie fielded questions from fans during a live Twitter chat (at @fantasy411) on Monday. Read through the best of the Q&A below. Questions and answers have been edited for clarity.
@RaulMPerez20: Would you rather own Chris Owings or Jonathan Villar?
Zinkie: I'll take Villar. I know he has been disappointing, but Owings has cooled off considerably since his hot start.
@KyleOKC: Please name some waiver-wire targets for steals in shallow leagues.
Zinkie: Cameron Maybin, Mallex Smith.
@itsallbird: Will either Jake Arrieta or David Price get back to their top form soon?
Zinkie: I'm not expecting either one to be an ace starter the rest of the way.
@nmach10: Please pick one starter out of Jason Vargas, Jameson Taillon, Jose Berrios, Brandon McCarthy or Sonny Gray.
Zinkie: I'll take the upside of Berrios.
@EA3Kazoo: Can I drop Tony Watson at this point?
Zinkie: Definitely fine to drop him in mixed leagues.
@NorConstant: Would you rather own Cameron Maybin or Billy Hamilton?
Zinkie: Definitely Hamilton. Maybin has been playing well, but he can't compare to Hamilton.
@gossamer9799: Please name some relievers who could become closers after the Trade Deadline.
Zinkie: Arodys Vizcaino is a good option. Also, Joakim Soria and Tommy Kahnle.
@DarrenHill221: Please name some injured starters that I can stash.
Zinkie: Jon Gray, Carlos Rodon, Trevor Cahill, Nate Karns.
@mygutsays7: Do you expect Amed Rosario or Yoan Moncada to be promoted soon?
Zinkie: I'm still hopeful that they will be up prior to the All-Star break. Especially Rosario.
@amoralest1970: Please share your thoughts about Jose Quintana and Masahiro Tanaka.
Zinkie: Of the two, I would rather buy low on Quintana. Perhaps a July change of scenery will make a difference.

@Jbiss: Why isn't Archie Bradley closing for the D-backs over Fernando Rodney? And is Paul Goldschmidt the best fantasy player this year?
Zinkie: Rodney has done enough to hold the job for now. And, Bradley is valuable in other innings. Yes, Goldschmidt is No. 1 to me.
@SAWoodsy: Which first baseman could I trade out of Mark Reynolds, Justin Bour and Justin Smoak?
Zinkie: Think in reverse: Find a player you want to acquire and ask the other owner which first baseman they covet.
@bhesch04: Would you rather own Justin Smoak or Justin Bour?
Zinkie: I will take Bour, but I feel great about both of them.
@ItsMe_FJB: Please rank Ryon Healy, Eugenio Suarez, Matt Davidson, Yangervis Solarte.
Zinkie: Healy, Suarez, Solarte, Davidson.
@DeejaeD2: Please pick a shortstop out of Dansby Swanson, Troy Tulowitzki, Tim Anderson, Brandon Crawford and Javier Baez.
Zinkie: Tulowitzki. Even though he has been quiet this year.
@Saulty22: Please pick a catcher out of Tyler Flowers, Welington Castillo, Matt Wieters and Manny Pina.
Zinkie: Go with Castillo, who seems to be finding his top form with Baltimore.
@njDylan: Please select one out of Evan Gattis, Tom Murphy and Manny Pina.
Zinkie: Go with Gattis. Even with an inconsistent role, he is the best hitter in that bunch.
@C_Lib: Should I own Evan Gattis or Wilson Ramos? I already have a high floor with Yadier Molina on my team.
Zinkie: With Molina on your team, you might as well chase the upside of Ramos.
@LanceRomance81: With the Royals moving Matt Strahm to the rotation, does this make him a legit fantasy option moving forward?
Zinkie: I'm interested in putting him on my bench in a 15-team league. Nothing more than that for now.
@AllenJerkins: Can I cut Kyle Hendricks in a 12-team league?
Zinkie: I would likely find room to stash him. But it could make sense if your DL/bench space is very limited.
@matt12193: Is it worth stashing Amed Rosario?
Zinkie: Yes. I still expect him to arrive fairly soon. I'm surprised he isn't in the Majors now.
