More than 50,000 fans register for opportunity to purchase Opening Day tickets

Opportunity to Register Closes Monday

MILWAUKEE, WI – As of today, 52,000 Brewers fans have registered on Brewers.com for the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Club's Opening Day, set for Monday, April 1, 2013.

"The response from fans has been incredible," said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. "We simply don't have even close to the inventory needed to match the demand for Opening Day."

Through Monday at 11:59 p.m. CT, fans can go to Brewers.com to register for the opportunity to purchase up to four tickets to Opening Day. Due to limited availability, the Opening Day Opportunity includes single seats, standing room only and some obstructed view seats. In addition, fans can register for a maximum of eight tickets to Gold and Marquee Games at Miller Park.

Following registration, a pool of randomly selected winners will be chosen and provided access to an online pre-sale opportunity, based on available inventory. The winners will be notified on Friday, February 15.

There is no charge to register. This will be the only opportunity for fans to purchase single game tickets for Opening Day, other than a very small number set aside for fans lining up at the Box Office on the first day of individual game sales at Miller Park – Saturday, February 23 at the Arctic Tailgate.

Meanwhile, there are still options available for fans to guarantee their place at Miller Park for Opening Day and Marquee Games all season long with plans starting as low as the 10-Pack. Each 10-Pack includes 10 Brewers home games, plus a bonus of Opening Day or any other game of the fan's choice absolutely FREE. Fans interested in purchasing 10-Packs are encouraged to call 414-902-HITS (4487) or visit Brewers.com for more information.
