"Mystery" Autograph Grab Bags Available Friday, June 28

Sales of autographed baseballs in paper bags support Mariners Care nonprofit foundation

The annual Mystery Autograph Grab Bag sale is Friday, June 28, when the Mariners take on the Chicago Cubs. Game time is 7:10pm.

Fans can buy a grab bag for $50. Inside the sealed paper bag will be one baseball, autographed by a Mariners player or manager Eric Wedge. This year, the grab bags may also contain signatures of players from teams that have visited Safeco Field so far this season.

Proceeds from the sales will benefit Mariners Care, the team's nonprofit foundation which supports primarily youth-oriented charities throughout the Pacific Northwest. Mariners Care, in partnership with the team's corporate partners, has provided an average of $1 million a year for regional charitable programs and causes. Since 2000, the contributions have totaled $13.5 million.

The grab bags will be available on the Main Concourse near Section 128, at the skybrige entrance to the Terrace Club, on the Holland America Suite Deck and the KeyBank Diamond Club.
