"Mystery" Autographs available Friday, July 10

Sales of autographed baseballs support Mariners Care nonprofit foundation

The annual Mystery Autograph sale, organized by the Seattle Mariners Wives, is Friday, July 10, when the Mariners take on the Los Angeles Angels. Game time is 7:10pm.

Fans can buy a sealed paper bag will be one baseball, autographed by a Mariners player or manager Lloyd McClendon. The cost is $50 each.

Proceeds from the sales will benefit Mariners Care, the team's nonprofit foundation which supports primarily youth-oriented charities throughout the Pacific Northwest. Mariners Care, in partnership with the team's corporate partners, has provided an average of $1 million a year for regional charitable programs and causes. Since 2000, the contributions have totaled $15.8 million.

The autographs will be available on the Main Concourse near Section 128 and on the Holland America Suite Deck.

Tickets for the Mariners homestand and all remaining games at Safeco Field are available without a service charge at the Safeco Field ticket office and Seattle Mariners Team Stores (downtown Seattle at 4th & Stewart, Bellevue Square, Southcenter and Alderwood Mall). Tickets are also available online at mariners.com and by phone at 1-888-SEA-HITS.
