Nationals' Draft results

Luzardo, a left-handed pitcher from Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, has touched 93 mph on the radar gun. His fastball sits between 89-91 mph with downward sinking action and he has the ability to change speeds well with a curveball and changeup. He was a projected first-round selection prior to undergoing Tommy John surgery.

Neuse, meanwhile, a three-time all-Big 12 selection, was a shortstop for the University of Oklahoma, but Washington drafted him as a third baseman. He's also been clocked up to 94 mph while flashing an impressive slider as a relief pitcher for the Sooners.
