Belisle, Nationals agree to Minor League deal

WASHINGTON -- The Nationals agreed to terms on a Minor League deal with right-handed reliever Matt Belisle with an invitation to Major League Spring Training.
Belisle will be reunited with manager Dusty Baker; the two worked together in 2008 with the Reds. Belisle, 35, spent most of his 12-year career with the Reds and Rockies. His best season came in Colorado in '10, when he went 7-5 with a 2.93 ERA in 76 games.
During his career, Belisle is 49-55 with a 4.34 ERA in 558 games -- 514 of them in relief -- and 6.9 strikeouts per nine innings.
