Nats announce their 20 millionth fan

WASHINGTON -- The Nationals announced their 20 millionth fan at Nationals Park on Friday night. The winner, Wayne Gonsorcik, was given an autographed Jordan Zimmermann jersey and tickets to a Nationals game of his choice.

Gonsorcik entered the stadium with his wife and children and was greeted by Scott Lewis, the team's senior director of strategic analytics, who told Gonsorcik the great news.

"I was a little astonished, quite surprised," Gonsorcik said. "We were excited to see all the presidents gathered around up front. I'm like, 'Ok, great kids, ... let's do a nice photo will all the presidents.' ... So we got an upgrade to our seats and have been treated like royalty tonight."

Gonsorcik works as an instructor training Navy recruiters and resides in Pensacola, Fla., but he grew up in Dale City, Va. He was on vacation this weekend to see the family.
