Crew Chief review gives Walker a home run

CINCINNATI -- A Crew Chief review quickly turned Neil Walker's fourth-inning triple into a home run during the Pirates' 3-0 victory over the Reds on Sunday.

Walker led off the inning against Cincinnati rookie right-hander Keyvius Sampson with a drive to right-center that was ruled in play, as the ball caromed off the top of the wall.

Walker ran out the stand-up triple but the review, upon the request of Pirates manager Clint Hurdle, clearly showed the ball clanging off the glove of a fan attempting a catch well above the yellow line running across the top of the wall.

Walker's 10th homer of the season extended the Bucs' lead to 3-0.
