Williams exits with left wrist soreness

CHICAGO -- Phillies left fielder left Wednesday's 7-5 loss to the Cubs at Wrigley Field with left wrist soreness in the bottom of the fifth inning. He was replaced by , who homered in the ninth to give the Phillies a short-lived two-run lead.
Williams was coming off a strong game in the opener Tuesday, homering off and tallying three RBIs. He was 0-for-2 with a strikeout before exiting Wednesday's game.
For the season, Williams is hitting .231 with seven homers and 17 RBIs.
