Remember last year when the legendary Mariano Rivera went down for the season with a torn ACL shagging balls in the outfield? Well, his teammates aren’t letting him forget. Revisiting the Kaufman Stadium cite where the injury occurred, a couple of Rivera’s Yankee pals drew a chalk outline where he went down last year and hung a “No Mo Zone” sign above it.
You seldom hear of veteran like Mo getting pranked, but the Yankees pulled it off beautifully. Being the incredible person he is, Mariano took it with a light heart and laughed it off. Then he resumed dominating every aspect of life and inspiring all of us to be better people.
