No TV broadcast for Saturday's Mariners game

SEATTLE -- Saturday's 1:10 p.m. PT game against the Twins at Safeco Field will be the only Mariners game not televised this season by either ROOT or FOX.

The game will be played in the normal FOX window for Saturday games, but is not being picked up by the network.

Non-FOX games are normally played at 6:10 p.m. PT on Saturdays so that ROOT can pick up the broadcast, but in this case the team agreed to the earlier start time in cooperation with the City of Seattle because of the Seafair Torchlight Parade in downtown Seattle on Saturday night.

The game will be available on MLB.TV to its subscribers and will be broadcast on ESPN 710 radio in Seattle and the normal Mariners Radio Network.

The Mariners won eight games in a row entering Wednesday's game against the Indians.
