Reimold outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk

KANSAS CITY -- Nolan Reimold has cleared waivers and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Norfolk, the Orioles announced Thursday.

Reimold was designated for assignment on Monday and is a candidate to be added to the O's roster for September expansion. The 31-year-old outfielder was batting .227/.306/.340 in 108 plate appearances this season with Baltimore.
