D-backs make three roster moves

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Zack Greinke from the Paternity Leave List, reinstated OF Sócrates Brito (dislocated fourth finger on left hand) from the 60-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Reno, and designated RHP Tom Wilhelmsen for assignment.

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Zack Greinke from the Paternity Leave List, reinstated OF Sócrates Brito (dislocated fourth finger on left hand) from the 60-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Reno, and designated RHP Tom Wilhelmsen for assignment.
 
Greinke, 33, and his wife, Emily, gave birth to their second child on Friday. He is scheduled to start Tuesday @ Tigers, and is 8-3 with a 3.20 ERA (30 ER in 84.1 IP) with 100 strikeouts and 17 walks this season.
 
Brito, 24, hit .333 (19-for-57) with 3 doubles, 3 triples and 6 RBI in 16 rehab games with the Aces. He dislocated his left ring finger in an exhibition game vs. Team Mexico during Spring Training on March 8. Brito entered the season rated by MLB.com as the No. 6 prospect in the D-backs' system, and has appeared in 58 games with Arizona over parts of 2 Major League seasons.
Wilhelmsen, 33, was 1-1 with a 4.44 ERA (13 ER in 26.1 IP) in 27 games for the D-backs in 2017.
