The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that the Saturday, September 9 game vs. Pittsburgh has been moved to a 6:15 p.m. CT start time. The time change is necessary to accommodate the FOX national broadcast window.
Originally scheduled at 12:05 p.m. CT as a FOX national broadcast, the Cardinals are required by broadcast agreements to change the game time now that FOX has opted to not carry the game. The Saturday Cardinals-Pirates game will now be part of the Fox Sports Midwest package and telecast locally to all Fox Sports Midwest subscribers.
The Cardinals would like to request that media communicate the change to their readers, listeners and watchers as much as possible to alert fans of this time change.
