Mets Place RHP Seth Lugo on DL & Activate RHP Robert Gsellman

The New York Mets today announced that they have placed RHP Seth Lugo on the 10-Day Disabled List, retroactive to August 12, with right shoulder impingement and recalled RHP Robert Gsellman from his rehabilitation assignment and activated him from the DL. Gsellman will start tomorrow night vs. the Yankees at Citi Field.

The New York Mets today announced that they have placed RHP Seth Lugo on the 10-Day Disabled List, retroactive to August 12, with right shoulder impingement and recalled RHP Robert Gsellman from his rehabilitation assignment and activated him from the DL. Gsellman will start tomorrow night vs. the Yankees at Citi Field.
Gsellman was placed on the Disabled List on June 28 with a strained left hamstring. He went 1-0 with a 2.92 ERA (four earned runs/12.1 innings) in four rehabilitation starts with Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League.
Gsellman is 5-5 with a 6.15 ERA (52 earned runs/76.0 innings) in 17 games, 14 starts for New York this year.
Lugo is 5-3 with a 4.85 ERA (37 earned runs/68.2 innings) in 12 games, 11 starts for the Mets this season.
