Mariners care auctions jerseys for Hurricane Irma relief

Team issued Marineros jerseys, some autographed, available starting today at MLB.com/Auction.

Marineros jerseys from the Seattle Mariners annual Salute to Latin American Beisbol Night at Safeco Field on September 9, are being auctioned online, starting today, to benefit Hurricane Irma relief efforts in the Caribbean and Southeast United States.

In all, 34 Marineros jerseys are available for bidding, 16 of them autographed by Mariners players and coaches. Opening bids range from $200-$300, with bid increments of $50.
The jerseys will be available through September 24 at MLB.com/Auction. Mariners Care will donate 100% of the proceeds from the auction to American Red Cross relief efforts in the Caribbean and Southeast United States in the wake of the devastating hurricane.
Autographed jerseys are from: Manny Acta, Yonder Alonso, Robinson Canó, Nelson Cruz, Edwin Diaz, Ben Gamel, Ryan Garton, Guillermo Heredia, Felix Hernandez, Edgar Martinez, Ariel Miranda, Taylor Motter, Jean Segura, Danny Valencia, Daniel Vogelbach and Mike Zunino. Most of the jerseys are game-worn, however some, such as Felix Hernandez's, who was on the disabled list at the time, are designated as team-issued.
All of the jerseys have been authenticated by Major League Baseball.
