Orioles to shuffle rotation to give Bundy rest

June 20th, 2017

BALTIMORE -- The Orioles are going to get right-hander some rest over the next few weeks, with plans for him to get three days off following his next scheduled start on Saturday against the Rays.
After that, Bundy will be pushed to the back of the rotation following the O's off-day next Monday, which gives him another extra couple days of rest. He'll start right before the All-Star break and then he'll be the last starter to take the mound in the second half.
Bundy, coming off a season-low 4 1/3 innings, has pitched 92 innings so far this season after totaling 109 2/3 in 2016. He has been the O's best starter in his first full season in the rotation, going 7-6 with a 3.72 ERA in 15 games.
