A's to begin 2017 season vs. Angels at home

KANSAS CITY -- The 2017 regular-season schedule was announced on Wednesday, with plans for the A's to christen the campaign at home against the Angels on April 3.
The A's will also play host to three National League East clubs during the year, with the Marlins, Nationals and Braves set to visit Oakland for Interleague Play, which also features A's road contests against the Mets, Philadelphia and Miami.
Moreover, the annual Bay Bridge Series comes to Oakland on July 31-Aug. 1, before the A's cross the bridge to play the Giants at AT&T Park on Aug. 2-3.

Oakland's final homestand of the season spans Sept. 22-27 with games against the Rangers and Mariners, before the A's hit the road to wrap up the regular season in Arlington.
The A's will also be the Rays' opponent for a single-admission doubleheader scheduled for June 10 at Tropicana Field. It will be the Majors' first scheduled doubleheader since July 16, 2011, when the A's played host to the Angels, and only the second since the A's played at Minnesota on June 7, 1996.

Other highlights of the A's home schedule: they will be home on Father's Day, June 18, against the Yankees, as well as the Fourth of July (White Sox).
