Odubel Herrera's recent hot streak has kept the Phillies' center fielder among the leading vote-getters to represent the National League at the All-Star Game.
• VOTE: 2018 Camping World MLB All-Star Ballot
With 263,903 votes, Herrera moved from ninth among NL outfielders on last week's initial All-Star ballot update to 12th on the list revealed Monday. Atlanta's Nick Markakis (1,173,653) is the new leader at the position, overtaking the Nationals' Bryce Harper (1,002,696), who now ranks second. Matt Kemp of the Dodgers (925,697) remains third.
After starting the year hitting .361 with six home runs, nine doubles, a triple and 17 walks through 40 games, Herrera saw a 15-for-97 stretch drop his average to .283 last Tuesday. He has since rediscovered some of that early success, going 7-for-18 with two home runs in his past four games.
