Ogando to make rehab start Saturday at Triple-A

ARLINGTON -- Alexi Ogando is scheduled to make a rehab assignment start on Saturday for Triple-A Round Rock. Ogando will throw about 45 pitches in the start against Omaha.

Rangers manager Ron Washington said Ogando came out of a live batting practice session fine on Wednesday. The hitters Ogando faced included Jurickson Profar and Engel Beltre. Ogando has been on the disabled list since May 16 with right biceps tendonitis. He'll likely have at least two rehab assignments before getting activated..
