Orioles agree to terms with Machado, Trumbo and four others

The Orioles today announced that they have agreed to terms with RHP BRAD BRACH, INF RYAN FLAHERTY, RHP MIGUEL GONZALEZ, INF MANNY MACHADO, RHP CHRIS TILLMAN, andOF/INF MARK TRUMBO on one-year contracts, thus avoiding arbitration.

The Orioles today announced that they have agreed to terms with RHP Brad Brach, INF Ryan Flaherty, RHP Miguel Gonzalez, INF Manny Machado, RHP Chris TIllman, andOF/INF Mark Trumbo on one-year contracts, thus avoiding arbitration.
Brach, 29, went 5-3 with a 2.72 ERA (24 ER/79.1 IP) and 89 strikeouts in 62 games, posting a 10.1 strikeouts per 9.0 innings ratio with the Orioles last season.
Flaherty, 29, hit .202/.281/.356 with nine home runs and 31 RBI in 91 games with the Orioles.
Gonzalez, 31, went 9-12 with a 4.91 ERA (79 ER/144.2 IP) in 26 starts with the Orioles.
Machado, 23, batted .286/.359/.502 with a career-high 35 home runs and 86 RBI in 162 games with the Orioles. He was named a 2015 American League All-Star and earned his second career Gold Glove Award at third base.
Tillman, 27, went 11-11 with a 4.99 ERA (96 ER/173.0 IP) in 31 starts with the Orioles.
Trumbo, 29, batted .262/.310/.449 with 22 home runs and 64 RBI in 142 games between Arizona (46 games) and Seattle (96 games).
The Orioles have exchanged salary arbitration figures with LHP Zach Britton and LHP Brian Matusz.
