Orioles agree to terms with Fenter

TORONTO -- The Orioles agreed to terms with seventh-round Draft pick Gray Fenter for $1 million, an addition that was well above the pick's pool value. The team has not confirmed an agreement.

Fenter's slot, the No. 223 overall, was valued at $178,300. The Arkansas high school hurler had committed to Mississippi State. His signing, coupled with the O's going under slot on several players, should help keep them under their $6,850,400 allotted pool amount.

Fenter's fastball has great sinking action and ranges from 89-93 miles per hour. MLB.com's Draft experts also noted during his selection that he has a great feel for his curveball.
