Orioles make series of roster moves
The Orioles today announced that they have recalled RHP EVAN MEEK from Triple-A Norfolk and placed RHP BUD NORRIS on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 22, with a right groin strain. Additionally, RHP KEVIN GAUSMAN has been recalled from the Tides and will serve as the 26th player on the roster for today's doubleheader.
Meek, 31, is 2-0 with a 2.79 ERA (19.1IP, 6ER) and three saves in 17 games for the Tides. He has gone 0-2 with a 6.39 ERA (12.2IP, 9ER) in 13 games with the Orioles this season.
Norris, 29, is 7-5 with a 3.62 ERA (87.0IP, 35ER) in 14 starts for the Orioles this season.
Gausman, 23, has gone 3-1 with a 2.74 ERA (23.0IP, 7ER) in four starts for the Orioles this season and is expected to start the first game of today's doubleheader.
