BRADENTON, Fla. -- Orioles designated hitter Mark Trumbo, who hasn't played since last Tuesday with a strained right quad, says the injury has healed.
"I feel back to normal," Trumbo said. "[The training staff] did a real nice job. Got some of that swelling out of there. I feel ready."
Trumbo is planning to start at DH on Wednesday when the Orioles host the Yankees. 
"I think it's going to be just fine to get back into it," Trumbo said. "Ramp up for the end of the month."

Bundy goes five vs. Pirates
Dylan Bundy became the first Orioles starter to complete five innings in an 8-5 win over the Pirates on Monday.
Over his first two Grapefruit League starts, Bundy allowed 10 runs on 11 hits in 4 1/3 innings, walking three while striking out none.
Bundy was sharper the third time around, giving up a run on seven hits, striking out five and not walking a batter.

"It was real windy today, and [when] I was out of the stretch, it was pretty tough to not flinch out there," Bundy said. "I felt great though, 84 pitches. Kind of in a good way, it's good to throw that many pitches even though it's only five innings."
Bundy is in contention to start for the Orioles on Opening Day vs. the Twins on March 29. Manager Buck Showalter has not yet announced who his starter for that day will be.
"He's just been solid. Go gets some more velocity when he needs it," Showalter said. "All of his pitches were available to him today. He's had a feel for all of them. In those first two innings a lot of pitchers would have given up three, four, five runs. He gave up one."
Mike Wright Jr., who is in contention for the fifth starter's spot, allowed two runs on three hits in three innings of work.

Britton traveling with O's 
Left-hander Zach Britton, who is recovering from surgery to repair his right Achilles tendon in December, will travel with the Orioles as he continues his rehabilitation.
"The whole idea was to not make me change hands with rehab," Britton said.
"Let me stay with [head athletic trainer Brian] Ebel the whole way because we've made really good strides together, and then as I start running and doing things, I think he wants to see it happen with his own eyes and not get reports back from down here."

• Left-handed reliever Josh Edgin, who is contending for a spot in the bullpen, returned to the team after his wife gave birth to the couple's third child, a boy. Edgin is scheduled to pitch Tuesday.
• The Orioles optioned right-handed pitcher Alec Asher to Triple-A Norfolk and reassigned two of their top prospects, infielder Ryan Mountcastle and outfielder DJ Stewart, to Minor League camp.
Asher was 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in six innings over three games this spring, while Mountcastle hit .292 with two home runs and five RBIs in 13 games. Stewart hit .211 with an RBI in 13 games.
The Orioles now have 45 players on their camp roster.
