Orioles-Nats postponed; makeup game is Aug. 4

WASHINGTON -- The Orioles-Nationals game on Tuesday night was postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up on a mutual off-day on Aug. 4 at Nationals Park.

The decision was made after a 2 1/2-hour delay, and the Battle of the Beltways will now shift to two games in Baltimore. Righty Bud Norris, who was scheduled to start Tuesday, will be pushed to Wednesday, with the rest of the rotation finishing out the remaining games before the All-Star break.

Fans who have tickets for Tuesday's game at Nationals Park will be able to use them on Aug. 4.

Baltimore could certainly use the break, coming off Saturday's doubleheader in Boston and extra-inning games on Sunday and Monday.
