Orioles reinstate LHP Wei-Yin Chen from 15-day disabled list and recall RHP Josh Stinson from Triple-A Norfolk

The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated LHP WEI-YIN CHEN from the 15-day disabled list and recalled RHP JOSH STINSON from Triple-A Norfolk.

Chen, 27, is 3-3 with a 3.04 ERA (47.1IP, 16ER) in eight starts for the Orioles this season. He was placed on the DL on May 13 with a right oblique strain. In two rehab starts with Double-A Bowie, he went 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA (12.0IP, 4ER).

Stinson, 25, had one previous stint with the Orioles this season, making a start against Toronto on April 24, allowing five earned runs in 5.2 innings pitched in a no-decision. He is 4-4 with a 4.23 ERA (89.1IP, 42ER) in 15 starts with the Tides this season. In his last three starts, Stinson has pitched to a 2.57 ERA (21.0IP, 6ER), posting a Quality Start in each outing.
