June 14th, 2016

BOSTON -- Manny Machado continues to pace the Orioles in All-Star voting, with the latest totals released on Tuesday afternoon and several O's in need of fan help to get them to the 2016 Esurance MLB All-Star Game.
Catcher Matt Wieters is second and first baseman Chris Davis is third at their respective positions, with outfielder Mark Trumbo fourth in a very close AL outfield race.
Machado has received 1,234,388 votes at third base to lead the Royals' Mike Moustakas (824,727), who is out for the year with an injury. Machado has remained in the starting lineup while waiting for MLB to schedule a date for his appeal regarding his four-game suspension.
