Padres announce 2014 regular season broadcast schedule

All 162 regular season games to be broadcast on TV, radio and Spanish radio; 100 on TV in Spanish

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Padres today announced the 2014 regular season broadcast schedule. All 162 games will be televised in English and broadcast on radio in both English and Spanish. In addition 100 regular season games will be televised in Spanish.

The regular season gets underway with Opening Night, a nationally-televised game on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball. FOX Sports San Diego will produce and televise 160 of the remaining regular season games, the only exception being Saturday, July 5 vs. San Francisco, which will be regionally televised on FOX. 

Calling the action once again this year will be Dick Enberg and Mark Grant. Mike Pomeranz, Mark Sweeney, Kris Budden and Kate Osborne will round out the FSSD broadcast team.

FOX Deportes will televise 100 games in 2014, including nearly all home games and select road games. The complete FOX Deportes schedule will be released at a later date. Returning to the booth for FOX Deportes will be long-time Spanish-language voice of the Padres Eduardo Ortega and former Padres catcher Carlos Hernandez. Spanish telecasts will be available on FOX Deportes San Diego throughout San Diego on Cox and Time Warner Cable. Games will also be available in Las Vegas on Cox.


All 162 regular season Padres games will be broadcast on radio in both English and Spanish in 2014. English broadcasts with Ted Leitner, Bob Scanlan and Jesse Agler will run on the team's flagship station, XPRS-AM The Mighty 1090. Spanish broadcasts featuring Eduardo Ortega and Juan Angel Avila can be found on the Padres' Spanish flagship, XEMO-AM La Poderosa 860.
