PEORIA, ARIZ. - The San Diego Padres announced today that Sycuan Casino & Resort Opening Day against the San Francisco Giants on Thursday, March 28 has sold out. It marks the 16th consecutive home-opening sellout at Petco Park. A limited number of seats are still available for Opening Day within Padres Membership plans. Access is available by renewing or purchasing a new Padres Membership plan by March 9. Additionally, a limited number of Park Passes for Opening Day will be made available beginning on March 11. Fans are encouraged to come out for the remainder of Opening Weekend against the division-rival Giants with a homestand that promises to be full of fun and excitement for everyone. On Friday, March 29, the Padres are hosting their first BeerFest of the season in Park at the Park, presented by Southwest Airlines, which will feature the new Ballast Point Swingin' Friar Ale, $5 beer specials from local and national breweries and live music from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Baseball Night in San Diego returns on Saturday, March 30, where all fans in attendance will receive a 50^th Anniversary Swingin' Friar Bobblehead presented by Sycuan Casino & Resort prior to the Padres' 5:40 p.m. game.
The series versus San Francisco concludes on Sunday, March 31 at 1:10 p.m. with Military Opening Day presented by USAA where all active military and their families will receive a 50% off advance tickets, and KidsFest presented by Chick-fil-A, which features bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and more kid-friendly activities starting at 10:30 a.m. Additionally, the first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a Padres & Puppies 12-month calendar presented by Petco.
