Padres announce roster moves

The San Diego Padres today announced they have tendered contracts to 32 players for the 2015 season. 

• Already under contract for 2015 were RHP Joaquin Benoit, LHP Cory Luebke, INF Jedd Gyorko and OFs Cameron Maybin, Carlos Quentin, Seth Smith and Will Venable.
• The club has non-tendered INF Everth Cabrera.
• With today's announcement, the Padres currently have 39 players on the 40-man roster.
