The Padres' three key run-producing bats have picked up the pace again.
• First baseman Eric Hosmer is 7-for-21 in his last six games with three home runs, three walks, 11 RBIs and six runs scored. With 75 RBIs on the season, Hosmer has already eclipsed his total of 69 from his first season as a Padre and has a legitimate shot at his career high of 104 RBIs in 2016.
• Third baseman Manny Machado is 10-for-27 (.370) in an active six-game hitting streak and has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, going 17-for-45 (.378). During his six-game hitting streak, Machado has a triple, a home run, three RBIs and six runs scored. Over the last 11 games, Machado has raised his batting average from .266 to .278.
• Rookie shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. is riding an active nine-game hitting streak, going 12-for-36 (.333) with a double, three home runs, five RBIs and five runs scored. Tatis has hit safely in 15 of his last 16 games, going 22-for-67 (.328) with three doubles and five home runs for 13 RBIs and eight runs scored.

• CF Manuel Margot hit home runs in back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday, marking the second time this season that he has homered in back-to-back games. He has five homers in his past 23 games.
• 2B Greg Garcia is 4-for-8 in a four-game hitting streak that includes two hits in pinch-hitting appearances. He has a double, a walk, an RBI and three runs scored in the four games. Speaking of pinch-hitting, Ian Kinsler is 2-for-3 in his last four pinch-hit opportunities with a walk and two runs scored.
• The Padres are 9-19 since the first day of July and 6-15 since the All-Star break.
