Renfroe earns NL Player of Week nod

's first full week in the Majors culminated in the Padres' 24-year-old outfielder earning the final National League Player of the Week Award of the 2016 season.
Renfroe, the club's No. 3 prospect per MLBPipeline.com, hit .409/.409/.909 with three home runs and 13 RBIs in six games last week, helping lead San Diego to a series victory against the Dodgers.
Renfroe debuted on Sept. 21 and started eight of the Padres' final 11 games. He recorded his third multihit game on Tuesday, his first of four multihit efforts on the week. It was a two-homer, seven-RBI effort against the Dodgers in which he drove in all of San Diego's runs in a 7-1 victory.
Renfroe, the No. 13 overall pick in the 2013 Draft out of Mississippi State, hit .306 with 30 home runs and 105 RBIs in 133 games for Triple-A El Paso this season.
