Padres to Host Royals and Reds for Sixth Homestand of the 2017 Season

The Padres return home from their sixth road trip of the season, a four-day three-game trip, for their sixth homestand of the 2017 season, featuring games against the Kansas City Royals and the Cincinnati Reds. Action begins on Friday, with a 7:10 p.m. start against the Reds.

San Diego Padres vs. Kansas City Royals - Friday, June 9 @ 7:10 p.m.
Friday night will feature BeerFest presented by Southwest Airlines:
Live entertainment and a wide selection of beers from a variety of local and national breweries at Park at the Park.
First pour is at 4:30 p.m. with all beers specially priced at $5 and available for purchase with Friar Funds exclusively.
The third College Night of 2017 will take place Friday, with elements including:
A DJ spinning at the Budweiser Patio in Right Field from 5:00 p.m. to the conclusion of the game.
College students will receive a special ticket discount with a valid student ID (advance price of $10 in a Right Field Upper Reserved College Night section; prices increase day-of-game).
Ranella Ferrer from Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian will perform Friday's National Anthem.
San Diego Padres vs. Kansas City Royals - Saturday, June 10 @ 1:10 p.m.
As part of Baseball Night in San Diego, all fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a Padres Replica Jersey presented by FOX Sports San Diego. Upon entry, fans will receive a voucher to exchange for one of the four player names available, including: Austin Hedges, Wil Myers, Yangervis Solarte or Clayton Richard. Four sizes are available: Youth Large and Adult Medium, XL and 2XL. Player jerseys and sizes are subject to availability.
Prior to Saturday's game, the top 12 baseball and top 12 softball qualifiers from Southern California and Nevada will compete to be crowned champion of their respective age division in the Scotts Pitch, Hit & Run competition. The winners from each division age group will then be honored for their accomplishment during Saturday's pregame ceremony as the Padres' team champions, and will advance to compete in the National Finals at the 2017 All-Star Game in Miami.

Sunday will serve as a Military Salute: U.S. Marine Corps presented by USAA. Elements of the day include:
70 future Marines will take the Oath of Enlistment administered by Major Jared Reddinger, Commanding Officer of the U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Station San Diego.
Wendy Steadman, USMC (Ret.), will ring the Ceremonial Mission Bell.
Lieutenant General Lewis Craparotta, Commanding General, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch.
Over 100 representatives from the United States Marine Corps will line the bases during the pregame ceremony.
7 NROTC scholarship winners will be recognized during the homeplate ceremony.
100-year-old Colonel James "Rip" Harper, USMC (Ret.), will perform Sunday's National Anthem.
A representative from the U.S. Marine Corps will sing God Bless America during the 7th inning break.
Nine drill instructors from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego will take the field to greet Padres starters at each position as part of "Military Take the Field." 
A flyover will be conducted by F18 Hornets from VMFAT-101, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, MCAS Miramar.
Sunday will also be UC San Diego Health Day with representatives from UC San Diego participating in various activities during the pregame ceremony.
KidsFest, Compadres Kids Pregame Photo Day and Kids Run the Bases include:
KidsFest features bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and more kid-friendly activities at Park at the Park beginning at 11:00 a.m.
From 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., Padres players and coaches will take pictures with Compadres Kids members on the warning track as part of Compadres Kids Pregame Photo Day. Compadres Kids will line up at Park at the Park. A Compadres Kids membership is required to participate. Membership is free, and kids can sign up online or in-person on the day of the event.
Following Sunday's game, kids 14 and under are invited to run the bases on the field. Kids and their families can begin lining up following the conclusion of the eighth inning at the top of the ramp leading to the Sun Diego Beach on K Street. Compadres Kids members will receive front-of-the-line privileges by lining up at the Park Blvd gate.
San Diego Padres vs. Cincinnati Reds - Monday, June 12 @ 7:10 p.m.
The Padres Estrellas program presented by Arco is continuing its partnership with local school districts and non-profits to support the effort to reduce high school dropout rates and improve health and fitness behaviors within the Hispanic youth population. Prior to Monday's game, three students from Rohr Elementary and three students from South Bay Community Services will be treated to tickets to the game and have the opportunity to watch batting practice from the field before taking a tour of the Jerry Coleman Broadcast Center.
During Monday's pregame ceremony, the UCSD Tritons Baseballteam, runner-ups for the NCAA Division II National Baseball Championship, will be recognized for their achievements during the 2017 season. Members of the team will also throw the Ceremonial First Pitch prior to Monday's game.
San Diego Padres vs. Cincinnati Reds - Tuesday, June 13 @ 7:10 p.m.
Taco Tuesday presented by Cholula Hot Sauce is back and improved in 2017. Every Tuesday home game features Petco Park's favorite local tacos at a special price. For only $2.50, fans can choose from a variety of taco options at Carnitas' Snack Shack, Wonderland Ocean Pub, Lucha Libre, Miguel's, Seaside Market, Rimel's and Brigantine.
San Diego Padres vs. Cincinnati Reds - Wednesday, June 14 @ 12:40 p.m.
Wednesday will feature Way Back Wednesday presented by Budweiser with the Padres wearing their home white, blue and orange pinstripe uniforms worn by the club from 1991 to 2001. In-game music, graphics and other entertainment features will add to the Way Back Wednesday theme.
