Konerko a late scratch from lineup for KC finale

KANSAS CITY -- Paul Konerko was a late scratch from the White Sox lineup on Thursday because he was feeling light-headed. The veteran had been scheduled to play first base and hit in the No. 5 slot.

Konerko's absence forced manager Robin Ventura to make several changes from his original lineup: Adam Dunn moved from DH to first; Dayan Viciedo went from left field to DH; Alejandro De Aza went from center field to left and Jordan Danks was inserted in center field.

Viciedo had originally been slated to hit No. 8, but moved to No. 5 in the order. Catcher Josh Phegley moved from No. 9 to No. 8 in the order and Danks hit No. 9.
