Perez among Royals to appear at FanFest

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- World Series Most Valuable Player Salvador Perez, Alex Gordon, Wade Davis and Joakim Soria are just some of the big names confirmed who will make appearances this weekend at Royals FanFest.
The event, at Bartle Hall at the Kansas City Convention Center, begins Friday from noon to 2 p.m. CT for season-ticket holders, and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. for all fans. On Saturday, the event will be from 9-11 a.m. for season-ticket holders and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for all fans.

Other Royals players who have committed to attending include right-hander Edinson Volquez (Saturday only), shortstop Alcides Escobar, third baseman Mike Moustakas, left-hander Danny Duffy, right-hander Louis Coleman (Friday only), catchers Drew Butera and Tony Cruz, infielder and World Series Game 5 hero Christian Colon, right-hander Kelvin Herrera and outfielder Terrance Gore.
Royals general manager Dayton Moore and manager Ned Yost also will attend, along with alumni Willie Aikens, Jaime Bluma, Jim Eisenreich, Les Norman, Al Fitzmorris, Dennis Leonard, Marty Pattin, John Mayberry, Brian McRae, Jamie Quirk, John Wathan, Jerry Terrell, Shawn Sedlacek and Joe Zdeb.
Broadcasters Denny Matthews, Rex Hudler, Steve Physioc, Ryan Lefebvre, Steve Stewart and Joel Goldberg also will appear.
