SAN FRANCISCO -- Pitching prospects Phil Bickford and Adalberto Mejia were named Tuesday to represent the Giants at the 2016 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which will be held July 10 at San Diego's Petco Park.
Bickford, who will turn 21 on the day of the game, was San Francisco's No. 1 selection (18th overall) in the 2015 Draft. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound right-hander will be part of the 10-man pitching staff for the U.S. roster.
Futures Game rosters and scouting reports
Mejia, 23, was a non-roster invitee to Major League Spring Training camp this year. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder received one of 10 spots on the World team's pitching contingent. He'll be performing for former Giants outfielder Moises Alou, the World team's manager who's now a special assistant of player development with the San Diego Padres, this year's All-Star Game hosts.

The 18th edition of the Futures Game will air on MLB Network at 4 p.m. PT on July 10.
Bickford was recently promoted from Class A Augusta to Class A Advanced San Jose. Entering Tuesday, he was 1-0 with a 1.64 ERA in two starts for San Jose after building a 3-4 record with a 2.70 ERA in 11 starts at Augusta. His combined statistics feature 89 strikeouts and only 18 walks in 71 innings. MLB Pipeline ranked Bickford as the Giants' No. 3 prospect behind infielder Christian Arroyo and right-hander Tyler Beede.
Mejia is 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA in two starts for the Giants' Triple-A Sacramento affiliate. He also went 3-2 with a 1.94 ERA for the organization's Double-A Richmond outpost. MLB Pipeline ranked Mejia, a native of the Dominican Republic, as the Giants' No. 10 prospect. Since joining the Giants system in 2011, Mejia has compiled a 38-26 record with a 3.20 ERA in 107 Minor League appearances, including 87 starts.
