Snow makes Day 1 ticket sales online only

Citizens Bank Park closed Thursday due to expected snowstorm

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- The Phillies announced on Wednesday that single-game tickets at Citizens Bank Park will go on sale beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET Thursday, only at Phillies.com.

Tickets to all 81 games will be available, including the April 7 home opener, against the Brewers.

"We apologize for any inconvenience," John Weber, vice president of sales and ticket operations, said. "However, with Philadelphia's impending snow emergency, we believe this is the safest course of action for our fans. We are all looking forward to warm weather and the start of Phillies baseball."

Fans ordering tickets on Phillies.com should be on the lookout for a snowstorm offer.

Fans can call the Phillies phone center (215-463-1000) or visit the west ticket windows at Citizens Bank Park for single-game tickets beginning Friday. Fans who go to Citizens Bank Park on Friday will receive:

• A Majestic Clubhouse Store mystery discount, ranging from 20 percent to 75 percent.
• Photos with the 1980 and 2008 World Series trophies.
• A sneak peek at some upcoming giveaways.
